IDEA Identity Easy Access 1.21 [free]

IDEA Easy Access Identity is the App developed by the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato for reading and verification of RFID chip compliant with ICAO 9303 on electronic
travel documents.
The application, which is available for smartphones with Android operating system and NFC interface, performs the optical scanning of the Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) of an
electronic document, or the area consisting of 2 or 3 lines alphanumeric containing some of the information printed in the visible part of the document.
In this way he gets the keys of access to the chip, display, on the screen of the device in use the personal data protected by BAC and performs the security checks needed to
verify authenticity of the document.
With IDEA, therefore, the owner of an electronic document (electronic identity cards, electronic passports, electronic residence permit) can control its correct operation, to
verify the authenticity and determine that the data stored in the chip match the graphics printed on the visible area .
This App version is optimized for documents issued by the Italian State.
Subsequent releases will be aimed at the verification of authenticity of electronic documents issued by foreign countries.
